  1. I now have an outside antenna. I hear repeater traffic but I do not know how to find out exactly what repeaters they are. I've looked here on myGMRS it it is difficult to figure it out. I'm in Burbank, CA. I went to a high location and I did activate a repeater in Ventura County. I have put many requests in for repeater use and I have received absolutely no replies. I'm kind of disappointed. I put a few "open" repeaters in my radio and I cannot access any of them even from 1350 ft at a park. Any help would be greatly appreciated. RJ

  3. Thank You, I will learn more on Saturday from an Antyone technician.
  4. 1. When in GMRS mode, can ham repeater frequencies be added to that file? OR will it only allow GMRS frequencies to be entered? 2. When in amateur band mode, Can GMRS repeater frequencies be entered into that file? Or will those frequencies be disallowed?
  5. MichaelLAX: Are there any GMRS user groups or GMRS clubs in the San. Fernando Valley?
  6. Thank You OffroaderX. In most cases 30 watts ERP with gain antenna is enough for a repeater. I'm looking at options. I just revived my GMRS License. I haven't even bought a radio yet as I am trying to find a repeater to use here in Burbank, CA. So far no responses from repeater owners. RJ
  7. Thank you.
  8. Does anyone have any comments or experience with this XLT Communications GMRS Mobile Duplexer (50 Watt)? https://www.buytwowayradios.com/xlt-dp-gmrs-50.html It would appear that this is tuned correctly or close for GMRS repeater band plan. I would imagine it could be tweaked for a specific frequency pair to be used. RJ
