Interesting. We messed with that thing for 2 hours just to try to make it transmit a DCS tone. Almost at the point of sending it back and choosing another radio. Thanks again. SBB

My buddy got this radio and we can't figure out how to make the radio transmit a DCS tone of 315. Our local repeater requires this tone. I understand how to turn on the CCTS but not the DCS. Anyone know? SBB

Yes, you have to program the repeaters in your radio. All family members use the same callsign. SBB
