Yes. The 21r uses the 17pro chirp file as well. The 20 will not work though (or it didn’t for me). I tried chirp and the beofeng stock software. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok, so I don’t know if it’ll work with the 17r, but for the 10 5rs and 4 21rs I’ve done recently, I have been uploading a copy of the original benchmark for my uv-5r with tx/RX for GMRS and HAM bands into chirp. Everything I’ve done this with so far has worked. The firmware saved in this file is the UV5R firmware from the first handheld I did. Idk if that’s making a difference, but so far all the 21r’s I’ve done have been able to receive and transmit on all bands. The radio type I’m using in Chirp is the UV-17pro. Not that I would ever transmit on all bands as it’s shunned by sad hams and the FCC.
