I got mine today. Just have it hooked up on the bench right now. So far, it seems to be functioning as designed. It does have that annoying "pop" every time a station breaks the squelch. That seems to be typical of the Chinese radios. My Tidradio TH-8 does the same thing.
The programming software is very basic. You can only program Transmit, receive, tones, and power settings. No Alpha naming and no editing functions. The database is a .dat file. Hopefully RT Systems or Chirp will release a compatible version.
