  1. I think I've finally sourced the issue. I did another firmware update, and completed another factory reset. This fixed the overall issue (so i thought). As I started piecing settings one by one, to try and source any further issues, i found that when you turn on the weather alert the previous issue happens. Once it is off, the radio works as it should.
  2. I guess another interesting note. I just turned both of the radios on again, I was able to get the HA1G to pick up one single transmission from the GM-30, immediately after depressing the PTT on the GM30 the green indicator light on the HA1G turns on constant and I can no longer receive a transmission until the radio turns off and back on again. Update: I can get the HA1G to rx from the GM30 all the time if I have it in scan mode, but once scan is off, then we revert to the whole no RX problem.
  3. I did update the firmware on the HA1G. Maybe that did something?
  4. I did start with the radios next to each other. I left the HA1G inside and went outside with one of the GM-30's walked for a ways and tried again. Same result unfortunately. I'm not sure what I'm missing. I know they have worked together in the past.
  5. Playing around today after some severe storms we had yesterday. I've noticed this afternoon, that I am able to TX from the HA1G to the GM-30's no problem, however I am not RXing on the HA1G from the GM-30's. I originally thought the PTT was broken on the GM-30 but I tried a second GM-30 and have the same issue. I've assured there are no privacy tones on either radio. I've also factory reset all three radios and continue to have the same problem.

    RB26

    Yes, attempted this multiple times
  7. Right, thats the problem the GM-30 is not transmitting at all.
  8. I've gone through and played with the off step different repeater frequencies, and still have the same result. I've even gone into the programming software on every radio including the repeater.

    RB26

New issues with the RB26. I am able to talk to each other from one RB26 to the other, however I'm able to tx to an HA1G and GM-30 but cannot tx back to them. The indicator light does turn on, on the RB26 when attempting to TX to it from different radios. I've gone into the programming of all the radios and turned of the privacy tones.
  10. I'm setting up the retells RT97 mobile repeater for this weekends activities out and about. I have the following radios: Ailunce HA1G Radiodity GM-30 Retevis RB26 I have the repeater currently on RX: 467.7250, TX: 462.7250 with no CTCS or DCS tones. I am able to hear myself transmit from the HA1G and the RB26 from all radios. However, when transmitting from the GM-30 I am not able to hear anything. I have confirmed that the CTCS and DCS are off on the GM-30 and other hand helds. Any idea on what I can do to fix the issue? Is the HA1G not actually going through the repeater and just doing the normal sight to sight? I'm fairly new to GMRS and radios in general. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
