  1. Update I purchased the Y adapter from Wouxun. I still cannot get audio from both sides of the radio. I give up. I hooked the speaker up to the left side and only use that half of the radio now. What a waste
  2. It's in my Jeep, the radio is under the seat along with my Icom 2730 dual band. I have 2 external speakers, one for the Icom, one for the Wouxun. There isn't any room for the 3rd speaker I found out today that Wouxun makes the cable I need so I ordered it from them
  3. I just ordered another one to try
  4. My CB antenna is 8" from my GMRS and I have zero issues with either radio
  5. The wouxun manual says to use a Y adapter for a single external speaker?
  6. I'm using a mono Y adaptor
  7. My old Jeep is noisy. I added a Lido headrest speaker and used a 3.5mm "Y" adapter to connect the speaker to both out puts as directed in the manual. I only get output on the external speaker to area b, no matter how I have the speakers set on the radio (radio, mic, both) What is going on with this radio?
  8. Update: I'm a dummy. I had the TX tones entered into the RX of the programming. The radio is performing as good as a 20w should. I'm getting 15.5w on high with a SWR of 1.4 to 1 as tested with my NanoVNA
  9. Dummy load and sure com meter
  10. I hooked up a dummy load when i first got it and it's constantly putting out 17w on high. I will check it again
  11. Yes, I've tried hitting two separate repeaters that are both line of sight from my house. I'm using the same tones that are working with my 6 other radios. One repeater is a few miles away at 3000ft, the other is 12 miles away at 1500ft. I can physically see the repeaters from my house, which is on the side of a mountain at 1000ft It's either a programming issue, or faulty equipment. I'm going to hook my nanovna up tomorrow and test my antenna and coax, then go from there
  12. It's brand new, maybe a week old
  13. Yes, I get a full red line showing TX
