Well I gave up and figured I’d just not replace the battery and just charge it in place. I tossed it on the bed and the battery came off! What I was doing was trying to slide the battery off when it actually lifts up and then off.

I got it! Thanks for your help. You’d think 53 years of being on this earth I could remove a battery from a radio. But apparently life kicks you in the head every once and awhile!

Yeah mine does not come off at all. I did the latch and still nothing! Thank you though. After I undo the latch the battery won’t budge.

This might have been asked but how do you remove the battery? For the life of me I can get it off. I undid the clip at the bottom but the battery won’t slide off. The kit gave me extra battery’s but they are useless if I can’t change them. Thank you in advance.
