  1. Not yet let me see how much time it takes them to block me from Texas...lol Now that I am in from there. But you might be right someone might have nothing better to do.
  2. yeah still nothing. I will come at it from Kentucky or Texas and see if they are just dropping connections from certain geographic locations like I did yesterday. Cuz they might just only like you. LOL
  3. Being that I build datacenters I would give you that if this was a mom and pop shop that paid for the cheapest package at rackspace or WIX but this has been every hour on the hour since 3/9/2026. (I have a script running check this crap every hour) The main FCC site is up with the non-sense they are changing on it up there, but the meat and potatoes ULS DB being down from every Server, PC and MAC I have access to across the world tells me that they are purposely keeping it down. And if that is the case what happens to anyone that is trying to get their licenses upgraded or new licenses. Are they just going to be black holed. That isn't going to stop any of us from getting on the air. And now I can tell my friends to stand back and stand by as it looks like they might not have to bother taking any of the tests to or register any more to do any of this. So that just leaves all of us that have done the thing exposed with out info out there for the yahoos to do with what they wish. Like the "joke" the first commenter made. In any event, I have people waiting on license notifications and of all times for them to dick around they do it now.
  4. Anyone else not able to get into the website to check the system for updated licenses almost like they are attempting to stop all new licenses from being generated. It they are not issuing new licenses then the free for all to get up on the air will be chaos.
  5. Well last year I bought some Baofengs and BTECH UHF/D Amps to bump the transmit power and several styles and types of antennas and tested simplex mode range within the City of NY from our base of operations and we have been able to reach about 7 Miles from base to where we want to be able to reach in the event cell service / internet goes down. We joined a club to get access to a greater range repeater system but since we are able to run comms within areas we need to hit immediately, the only person that interfaces with the club community is me and I mainly only jump on the repeater if they change access tones and to participate in the net. Other than that GMRS is a tool for the shtf which is presently more likely. After I get the 1st ticket, then the HF tools will come in even more handy.
