Hey, I'm new to GMRS and I honestly don't know much. I like to go camping. I was wondering, would I be able to use a portable power station such as a jackery with a solar panel to power my car radio (Radioddity DB25-G) in order to make a temporary base station? I like to go with a few people and it would be great to have a few HTs while we walk around and have a base station at camp just in case something happens. I don't see why not, but I'm not 100% sure and I can't really find anyone doing that when I Google it. Thanks for your input!

Hey I'm a new member and I'm not sure If I'm hitting the Bronx 625 repeater. I have a Midland mxt275 in my car and I'm pretty sure I have it set to the repeater and dpl tones but when I did a radio check I didn't hear anything back and it's been radio silence the whole time I had it programmed to the repeater.
