  1. So, where would a good place be to acquire such a set up? And thanks for the input.
  2. I found that the Antenna is a SL16 and the Midland is a SO-239. Is the PL-239 the same as a SO-239?
  3. The cable only needs to be about 20'. So, I am assuming that I will not loose that much gain.
  4. I bought the MA09 High Gain 462~467MHz GMRS Omni-Directional Base Antenna to use with my MXT 275 Midland. But, it appears that the connection are different. I am asking what connections are needed and where can I purchase a cable already made up for this. Thanks
  5. Thanks! I live in a GMRS vacuum near Fall Creek Falls state park in Tennessee and I have a difficult time hitting repeaters around me. I figured I would get the RT97L to help out the park and the community.
  6. Has anyone used the Midland or the Retevis repeaters? Just curious...be gentle...
  7. I'm for it. I live near the Van Buren/ Bledsoe line close to Fall Creek Falls.
  8. Does the 5 watt less really make a difference between the 20G Vs the 25G?
  9. I'm thinking about getting a Radioddity DB25-G GMRS Mobile Radio. Just asking if anyone has any experience with this radio before I take the plunge? Thanks WSBX980 Pikeville TN
  10. Hi James, I'm in Pikeville near Fall Creek Falls. I am going to see if I can reach the repeater in Crossville when I get home. WSBX980
  11. That's what I figured. Thanks for reassuring my figuring...
  12. I was thinking about getting the Midland Repeater Antenna 7dB - RPAT02 to use with my MXT275 as a base station and I was wondering if anyone else had used this setup or is RPAT02 repeater only?
