I checked the port and there doesn't appear to be a rubber layer. I sent an email to BTWR to see if they can help.

Woxoun Software will not read my KG-905 no matter how hard I push in the wire. Any other ideas on how to get it to read the radio? CHIRP doesn't seem to be an option either. Thank you.
