    I got 5 HP602-UM the box says firmware A1.7.01.004 and I got 2 HM782-UV firmware A1.6.02.003

    Got a hold of some Hytera radios from work since they decommissioned them and was sending out to recycle, not sure what company they got them from but they came pre programmed so they don’t have the CPS software. Any idea where I can get a hold of this? Free preferred, thanks for any response

    I plan on moving it in the future once i get a roof rack for the truck, but this will work for now for comms well on the trail, and recommendations on antenna? something that doesnt break the wallet

    I bought a truck that had a cb previously in it , they took the cb but left the coax and antenna mount, what do I need to get my comms up and going , I want a vhf/uhf antenna but not sure which one will go on this mount, is there a adapter I need? Thanks for the help

    The spanish speaking you are hearing is most likely coming from the Crestline repeater as that one is mostly dominated by spanish speakers. Trust me i hear it alll the time

    well i found they all had split tones going on, and i found the rx tone from them, now i am just trying to reach anyone to confirm these repeaters.

    i was able to reach someone on the 125 tone, he said it was "Daniels peak"? i never heard of daniels peak before

    Just curious if anyone knows what repeaters these tones are attached too, i cant seem to find anything on them but i found them. Channel 15 462.550 and they are DPL tones 125, 423, 516

    ya it was Rubicon's, I didn't expect a response that early and to my surprise it was there. Glad to be part of the Licensed group now, I just got my license 2 days ago.

    Keyed up for a repeater check this morning on my way to work and got a response, then was asked to key up a few more times to help map there new repeater, honestly I geeked out a bit as I knew who it was and i watch all his videos.
