Hello! I go by Stripes because of my love for striped skunks! 

My main use of GMRS is for traveling as I work in theater and entertainment going to different houses, stadiums and arenas so it is nice to try and talk to people on different repeaters when I plan out my trip. Before that I used to be a state manager of covid testing so I would travel to different testing sites, often times using back roads with no cell coverage but have the radio potential. The CSRA group is the main repeater system I use when im home or going out and about. They are some friendly folk!

Im doing my research to set up my own very small repeater. Its been a fun experience and challenge to try and accomplish, with most of my hold backs being funds for equipment. My ultimate goal for my repeater is to have it for Down Town Columbia when there are sometimes events and for groups in college to keep in touch!
