Being that I work in film and video, I should point out that if you want to knock down the brightness of the display to varying levels, cutting a sheet of Neutral Density (ND) to cover the display should work well: Amazon link

Are there any repeaters near Washington, DC?

That one 30 miles SW of DC is the one I heard tonight. Someone on it said it was located In Gainesville/Bull Run area. VERY strong signal here in Sterling, VA. -
VERY strong and clear signal. At first I thought it might be the one in Ellicott City MD, but then the main guy said it was in Gainesville Va/Bull Run. He also said he has hit it as far south as Fredericksburg. As I listened more there was even a faint contact from BALTIMORE. I am in Sterling , Va and was listening on a KG-805G. I did not see it listed on the map. MG
