Are Phoenix area Repeaters down?

Normally I can hit the Shaw Butte repeater on North Mountain but for the last 2 days I get nothing, not even the static from the repeater opening. Does anyone know if they're still up or are they down for repair or something else? Thanks.

Ok, I feel dumb, I was TX on 462 and RX on 467. I need to swap those around. I should know better.

Well, after double checking and making everything right I still can't get a response to any of the 3 Repeaters in the area.  I can normally hit Shaw Butte easily even from my Man Cave at the back of the house but none of my radios get a response. Now I am starting to wonder if they're down for some reason.

Or was I right all along. I had it working, now it doesn't work, not sure anymore.

RX=462, TX=467, is that right?

Yes.  Transmit into the repeater on 467 and you will get a response on 462

At the moment, I can only hit 550 Alpha and Sun City West 625. I usually have no problem hitting Shaw Butte, Towers 575 & 600, but not today.

I suspect the problem child is back at it since Shaw Butte, and the two Towers repeaters are down.

I noticed a lot depends on the software I'm using. In CHIRP I enter 462 and it automatically adds the +5 offset to correct the TX to 467. With the Baofeng Factory software I have to manually enter the 467 TX and 462 RX. 

Even with everything correct I'm not getting any returns from anyone so maybe no one is monitoring the Repeaters.

Too bad our GMRS friend from So.Cal isn't around anymore, he always hit repeaters in Arizona, over 200 miles away...

I just figured enough people had him blocked to where I wasn't even seeing replies to him anymore

Either that, or ... someone here casually mentioned his GMRS callsign (which he had tried to hide after he got run-off the site last time).. Then everyone looking it up and seeing sh!thole where he lives, his full legal name, and pretty much everything else about him... He got real quiet right after that..

Thank God that the closest affected repeater is 425 air miles, twice the distance of his 200 mile range capability from Phelan, I would think we would be well out of range especially with a hill or two in between the two points. Although, the two Crown King repeaters are at 7,800 feet in elevation, I guess there may be a slight possibility only for his radio.
