Need a 3D belt clip for my Baofeng! Any suggestions

Recommended Posts

Hi!
I am the happy owner of the Baofeng UV-9G which I like a lot. But I hate the beltclip and, besides, while I still have the screw, I lost the clip itself during a hurricane. What I am looking for would be a 3D printer belt clip which would use the screw from the original clip. And since I don't have a 3D printer I have to purchase that somewhere. Can you recommend a person or an online store which I could get such a belt clip from?  I should also clarify that I don't like Baofeng type "fat" belt clips, I am hoping to find one which can use the screw, but would remain "flat(er)" than the think Baofeng ones.  And, to clarify, I can use a search engine, the reason I ask here is to get ==>personal<== recommendations or suggestions 🙂
Thank you very much!

there is one in each group or forum.

nice to meet you.

now I will wait for actually useful comments 🙂

Some posters do not understand the two types of people on these types of forums:

1) Those that cannot do or are unwilling to do internet research and hence prefer to be spoon fed; and

2) Those that get personal achievement and gratification from doing research for others!

My tongue in cheek comment was a criticism of @amaff’s comment

Did you take it personally because I replied to you??

As someone who suffers from ADD, I am always grateful to someone who enjoys doing the research and giving me a link in response.

To those who passive-aggressively SIMPLY suggest “google” or “YouTube” they can F-themselves!!

The thing is, though, one can just as easily type the exact same thing into a search engine and get the very results they are asking for here. There's a world of difference in "Hey guys, been doing some research on this thing. Looking for some additional input" and "Hey guys, tell me about this thing."

Hey! Watch it Buckko!  There is nothing wrong with a little Youtube edutainment !

You misunderstood my point: give me a link to a YouTube video answering my question and I am a Happy Camper!!

Suggesting simply “YouTube,” not so much!!

Is there?? When the OP or question poster indicates he has autism, for example, which has happened here before?

You would rather debate the metadata rather than just being silent, not posting anything and letting those of us who like to do the research, answer the question?!?

I don’t look behind to the motive of the questioner; if I can help, I do. If I can’t, I move on to the next thread.

But I never bully the questioner for asking the question.

I guess YMMV!
