Craws907
I have a 8' marine style made with a 4g cell booster on my cabin and I'm wondering if I can mount a gmrs base antenna up there also. Any thoughts?
0 Jones
Sure. Why not? GMRS at 462MHz is not going to cause any trouble with your 820-890MHz 4G antenna.
0 rdunajewski
Sure. Why not? GMRS at 462MHz is not going to cause any trouble with your 820-890MHz 4G antenna. 4G has many bands which vary by carrier. None are in the 400-500 MHz range of course, so it should be okay as long as harmonics don't pose an issue with one of the bands. Even so, that usually wouldn't be catastrophic to 4G as I believe multiple bands may be leveraged concurrently depending on the area. 0 Craws907
Thank you gentlemen, now I just need to pick a antenna. I didn't think it would cause a problem but I'm still a bit new to the gmrs thing so I figured it's best around first.
