Liability Insurance for repeaters

Yes, at most professional communications sites, you would be required to hold a $2M general liability policy, in case you accidentally mess up something on site, or knock the tower over by backing into it with your truck, etc.

As a professional broadcast engineer, I do have such a business policy.  You can purchase a similar policy from most any agency who writes business insurance policies.  Mine is annual renewable.  Short-term policies are also available from some insurers, if you want to just insure a one-time job.

If you are part of a club that owns the repeater, have the club buy the insurance. (If you're a ham, the ARRL has some great policies.)
