I'm new here too.

Trying to learn what I can.  I own a Midland MXT400 but don't understand the term you're using in, "Skip channels."

I'm thinkings you want to just listen to two/scan two or more, channels and not cycle thru all the avaliable channels?

Please, if you don't mind, how do you skip channels on the MXT400?

I only understand that I can set a channel to monitor, then scan all the others.  I have very a limited use of FRS/GMRS in my area at all.

My radio is mounted in the Jeep so it is mobile and not a base station.

In order to get inside your radio to make it how you like it you have to get a data cable then download the software to add or take away changes it’s not gonna do anything to go outside the GRMS protocol per FCC I found a download link somewhere on this form for the MXT 400 I don’t have it on my phone or my computer hope it helps

I'm not sure on the MXT 115, but my MXT90 can. I have to go to each channel and press, hold the scan button for a second or two. When I release the button the scan icon no longer appears on the display. When I scan frequencies it will jump those channels I've removed. Repeat the process to add channels back.

I've found this isn't possible on theMXT275. My MXT 275 won't even scan repeater channels after they've been enabled. :( With the MXT400 it's capable, but only with the software.

I have an MXT115.  I too searched the manual and could not find that you can set up a channel to skip during scanning.

I also have an MXT105, which does have this feature.  So I thought it might be similar, so I tried some key combinations, but I cannot get the MXT115 to skip a channel.

Sorry, nice feature that Midland seemed to have forgotten.
