Wouxun KG935G Repeater Programning

Is there a way to program a repeater channel on the KG935G  itself with non-standard offset and tone? The manual says nothing. Do I need a programming cable?

FPP allows use of the standard +5MHz offset only. No other option available. You would need the software to do non-standard stuff.

I have this and tried the free mfg software and CHIRP (which I do not recommend as some brick their radio).  So for $49 you can do so much...
