VXR-7000U Duplexer

Question

Posted

I am able to get a VXR-7000U with duplexer. The VXD-60UD duplexer is labled 450.000/455.000 Mhz. I cant find any info on them being that frequency. Everything I've come across reads 450.000 to 470.000. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

I am running a vertex 7000 and found that if you have to retune the duplexer depending on the quality of the duplexer it's just easier to by a new one. This was my case and I paid $150 on Amazon for a duplexer tuned to the GMRS Freq range. It has worked perfectly.

450/455 likely indicates the frequencies that particular duplexer is currently tuned for. To use on GMRS may require retuning the input to 467.6 (approximately middle of repeater inputs) and 462.6 (repeater outputs). The other range indicates what it could be tuned to.
