Motorola MTS2000 UHF

HI THERE:

I AM PROGRAMMING A UHF MOTOROLA MTS2000 HANDIE TALKIE AND IN ONE REPEATER CHANNEL THAT USES A DPL 246 TONE,WHEN I CLICK TO SELECT IT IN THE LIST OF THE DPL TONES THERE IS NO 246 DPL TONE.DOES ANYBODY KNOWS HOW TO DO IT ????

HELP NEEDED HERE.....

Does the list have DPL 523?  This thread suggests 523 with the "invert" option checked can take the place of normal DPL 246.

Hi There:

Thanks for the fast reply but it doesn't have the 523 value.....

Also I tried to erase the value on the DPL tone box and write the new value manually but it doesn't erase.

it stays blue then I click the Backspace key and don't erase....

Unfortunately, not all radios have all digital codes.  DPL 246 is not standard to Motorola.  This page shows some others.:

With neither 246 or 523 being on the list... I'd be tempted to take a shot in the dark and try 245 and 532 inverted, just to see if there may be a typo in the repeater info. (Kind of a long shot, I know)
