WRYP302 Posted November 29, 2023 Report Share Posted November 29, 2023 I am new to GMRS and recently purchased two GMRS-PRO handhelds and a GMRS-50V2 in the truck. I was working through the 50-V2 programming software and opened the Menu Settings page. There are two fields Press PTT to Send and Release PTT to Send. Can someone please explain the purpose of these fields? I found nothing in the manual and a Google search send me back to the manual. Also, I would appreciate if you could recommend website(s)/YouTube channel(s) provides programming instructions for a novice. Thank You Mike WRYP302 That configures when your radio sends its ID, which is called by various things: ANI, caller Id, etc. Most of us simply leave it off.
