DB20G scan function broken

I have a DB20G that was working fine and suddenly when I attempt to enable the Scan function ( Function/ 4) on the mic, the radio power resets when I hit the #4 key. Everything else function normally.

Utilizing the pinouts from Miklor here and here:

It still feels to me that there is some misalignment between the RJ-45 plug on the microphone and the RJ-45 jack on the radio; such that it is shorting out the voltage pins instead of triggering the SCAN function.

Strange! Is it under warranty?

Be sure the RJ-45 connector from the mic cable is pushed all the way in.

Um that's odd, i would do a factory reset to be sure and check all of your connections. if its still not working id return it.
