Repeaters in Philadelphia Area on 462.575?

Guest

Question

Greetings-

First post here. I'm hearing lots of activity from [I think] two repeaters on 462.575. I'm usually in South and West Philadelphia and South Jersey in the Westmont area. I can hear both very well.

There's one that acknowledges with CW WRQL370/S, and another that has two key DTMF 'blip'.

The latter one seems to generate the most traffic.  IDs are Call Signs and other numeric IDs.

Anyone have any insight to this?

Thanks

I'm a newb here in DelCo.  I heard some traffic on 575 about an hour ago (couldn't get the callsigns) with someone asking for a radio check from "anyone on the LEARN system" from out near Birdsboro.  The guy that responded told him he was right at the end of the repeater string and was cutting-in and out.  If the repeater is on the tower at Roxborough, Birdsboro is about 40 miles away.

WRQL370/S was not on .575. It was on .725
