WRYZ926 Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Our amateur radio club has officially opened up our GMRS repeater to the public. The repeater frequency is 467.600/462.600 with a PL tone of 141.3. I will see about getting it listed on the map. For more information about the repeater and our club: https://www.aecimo.org/?page_id=6974 SteveShannon 1 Quote
WSBZ540 Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 I can reach Mexico and Columbia on 2m, but probably can't reach it with gmrs. However, I'll be listening for it! Quote
WSCD946 Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 can I hit this from I-70 with a mobile ? I should be passing through later today Quote
WRYZ926 Posted May 17 Author Report Posted May 17 Yes you can get into the repeater from around the 175 mile marker to the 170 mile marker. The you can pick it back up From Williamsburg , Mo to Columbia, Mo. I can get in to the repeater just fine with a 50 watt mobile and a Nagoya UT-72G antenna. The repeater is located in Mexico, Mo on the KWWR backup tower and the GMRS antennas are 400 feet above ground. Quote
