Nuthead19 Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 Only a few weeks ago did I learned about the linked network. I also learned that one of the repeaters I can hit from my place has joined the linked network. I am using a handheld gmrs radio with a full numeric keypad which is required to connect to repeater nodes. How would I use the keys on my radio to access the node and talk on the linked network. WRPQ991 Posted June 10 Report Posted June 10 If you can reach the repeater and know the CTSS number, put them in the radio and have fun. My BTech will find the CTSS numbers if the channel is busy. I'm quite active on the Roadkill network, reach coast to coast using linked repeaters. KevinJ and Socalgmrs 1 1 Quote

This Roadkill network very much interests me. Socalgmrs 1 Quote
WRXB215 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 @WSEZ869 Due to some recent FCC "action" if you will, many linked GMRS systems are now unlinked. There are some that are still linked but they have never been widely publicized and likely never will be. You kind of have to be in-the-know or do some scanning to find them. Good luck. motten1978 and RayDiddio 2 Quote

I just moved from Texas To Oregon for a few months and would love to know if you are aware of any linked networks between the two! WRUE951 1 Quote
WRXB215 Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 @stoutryan Wow! Texas to Oregon is a long way. That might draw too much attention. WSEZ 1 Quote
