I can key up the repeater on 467.6750 XXX.X tone. what are the rules for transmitting on a repeater if you don't know the operator. I cant find any info online about this repeater,  is this someones private repeater?

Years later this GMRS repeater is still active. Anyone have any clue on who the owner is? I'd love to contact them.

If it’s the same call sign as quoted in the first post it should be very easy for you to look up.

Jay - I'm sending you a private message to your Forum inbox regarding the owner of that system. Please check your new message.

That system is not registered either at LAGGROUP or at MyGMRS.com ,  so it is most likely a PRIVATE repeater. Until such time as you contact the owner and obtain permission in writing to use it, it may be wise to not attempt access.
