Radioddity DB40-G - Programming Cable

Hello all, 

I got the DB40-G 40 Watt Radioddity and I'm pretty happy with it so far.  However, the programming cable that came with it uses the infamous PL2303 chip. This chip doesn't work on Windows 11. I had to purchase a separate programming cable for my Baofeng UV-5G's that used a different chip. If anyone knows a work-around, I'd appreciate any help. Otherwise, I think I'm stuck on this one.

Most users can’t delete your own posts. 
Maybe premium users can or maybe only those who have risen to a certain level. I can delete my own posts, but I don’t know why.

Please post here as well that you have come to the conclusion that the DB40-G does not use the so-called “counterfeit Prolific” chip and works well in Windows 11 with the CH340 driver software provided on the Radioddity website.
