LeoG Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 At the base of the antenna or at the tip. This question is for when I input the height on the website "Radio Mobile Online" Of course the general knowledge of knowing is a good reason too. Quote
WRKC935 Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 Center of the radiation source. Neither the tip or the base. However, with UHF antenna's int NOT going to make much difference. If this was an AM radio station and the tower was the driven element as many of them are. The tower might be 600 feet in height, but the center of radiation is the middle of the tower, or 300 feet. You can cee how that would make a difference Quote
SvenMarbles Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 I went through this exact question recently. The simple answer is to figure that that radiation pattern looks like a bow-tie coming from the center of the broadside of the antenna. Quote
