WRUE951 Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 I've seen various topics that show how folks have mounted their mobile radio, (some very clever) thought It would be a good idea to create a 'one place topic' . This may be redundant but i couldn't find a 'one place topic' for this.. I used to mount my mobile inside the center council box and that kind of turned into a pain with leaving the counsel door up all the time.. I searched the internet for mounting suggestions for my truck, and saw this.. However i took the idea and printed one and now got it fined to to a perfect fit.. My Truck is a RAM. This fits the cup holder pretty snug, Radio is not going anywhere on bumpy roads. Heres my setup, add yours and help other people with ideas.. Cheers. amaff 1 Quote
kidphc Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 Seen that one. I think it works great, especially if you don't want something like a havis console.Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk Quote
WRUQ357 Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 I'm waiting on a delivery of a mount that will let me mount my new QT-80 next to my right leg on my center console. I will post pictures when everything gets installed. WRUE951 1 Quote
WRYZ926 Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 I'm using a Lido seat bolt mount for my two radios. That was about the best solution I could come up with for my 2023 Ford Escape. WRUE951 1 Quote
WSEY982 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Mounted mine to a rubi-grid platform. Pretty sleek and keeps my eyes up when operating the radio. SteveShannon, WRUE951 and JBRPong 3 Quote

I had mine sitting in similar spot in my Ram for a while. I liked the location but it was kind of a pain maneuvering my sun screen.. Quote
amaff Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Velcro. Literally velcro. In my defense, this vehicle is going away before too long so I didn't want to do too much work to permanently install it to just have to take it back out. But being between the console and seat, it works really well and hasn't moved. The OE microphone clip was also awful, so I used a cheap magnetic phone mount thing from The Rainforest for the mic. It works SO well. Quote
