PastorGary Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 As most of us have experienced recently, we have a slow-down in the server that is hosting this Forum. The server, as I understand it, is owned by Rich D., and he has been contacted about the situation. There is also a situation where a member attempts to log out and the software just sits there for many seconds. Rich was made aware of that situation as well. SteveH Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 The forum with my WinXP desktop with Firefox acts pretty normal with this forum but it is just a tad slow. That's nothing unusual as we are out in the sticks with a 900 MHz internet link that isn't always too fast.However, this forum sometimes takes forever to load on my Linux laptop, also running Firefox. Email may or may not work just yet, but let me know if you see anything else not working, like changing your profile avatar, uploading photos, etc. Quote

rdunajewski Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 Gary I PMed you, but there were still issues with email being sent since it is a new server, and users who never logged in before using their myGMRS username were getting login errors because the database we use to authenticate users is still on the main site's server. I've resolved all that, I think those will be the only major issues. Quote
