Baofeng Creating Interference

Question

Posted

Okay, this really has me puzzled. I plugged my Baofeng G15Pro in to charge in my Jeep and I noticed that it did not operate as it charged. Ok, that's fine, but as it was plugged in it created interference and static in multiple channels on my Midland mobile unit.

I unplugged and moved it into the garage and it still created interference across the board on my 575. What would cause that?

The charger. Is the radio turned off during the interference?
