Sarasota repeater

Am having trouble connecting to Sarasota repeater. Tone mode and code installed w/ offset/tx frequency and am only transmitting in simplex mode. What am I missing ?

You should not be transmitting in simplex mode. If you have your radio programmed correctly then you should be transmitting on 467.650 and receiving on 462.650. That is if you are talking about the Sara650 repeater in Florida.

Exactly what WRYZ926 stated. you need to set your offset 5 mhz. up  Example would be, listen on 462.650 and transmit on 467.650.

You just said off set is programmed so is it or not?   How do you know you’re not hitting the repeater?   How far away are you?  What radio are you using? Do you have line of site?   If your programmed right and your close enough your gonna hit it. For more help your gone have to post a screen shot of your set up.
