Don't allow one "Sad Sack" operator spoil your enjoyment of a repeater. If nothing else, contact the repeater's owner and let him know what this clod said. Allow him to set "Sad Sack" to rights.

This is an old post, but we solved our problem like this: It took days using Kenwood TM-V71a radios on reverse but we finally caught our offender. Looking in his car he had an old Maxtrac. We obtained his name from a neighbor. After that, anytime the crap would start, we would reply something nice and thank John Doe at 123 Cedar Street and say nothing more. He was furious and went into cuss fits, but after only 2 days we never heard him again.

Why don't you listen on the input, do some fox hunting and locate the offender? It's easy to be brave when you are anonymous. Perhaps everyone knowing who the offender is will make him nervous about getting someone angry
