I have communicated simplex but distance was other room, but will try again with greater distances. I did also try contacting the repeater from less than 500’ and didn’t work. I am pretty new to GMRS and don’t have any test equipment yet. What would help troubleshoot this? Also if simplex works at distance I presume that is showing the radio is transmitting and has at least some power. Any other suggestions or just contact manufacturer? -
I have two TD-H3 radios, one can connect to a 675 repeater tone is 141.3 and the other can’t. I first programmed manually then with software then cloned the one that connects and updated firmware too so they should be identical. Anyone experience this or have any ideas of fix?

I live in the Mentor Ohio area here, also new to GMRS, got my license about 2 months ago and a handful of radios for a trip to Yosemite at the beginning of August.
