Good 2 way repeater ready radio

Hello! I'm looking for a really good 2 way repeater ready GMRS radio. I'm fairly new to GMRS, and would like to get a good portable radio that are repeater ready. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Looking mostly for a handheld, but eventually want to put a mobile in my vehicles as well.

Most quality radios are offset capable, However for GMRS you might want to consider a radio radio is part95 certified and offset capable.

Check out the Baofeng GMRS-V1 for a decent handheld radio. It's a pretty good radio for about $55 shipped from Amazon.

And, it's type accepted and therefore 100% legal.

You could do like I do as well. When I'm in my car I hook my Handheld up to a mobile antenna, at least until you find a good mobile radio that you like.

The GMRS-V1 has both, so you will be good to go there.

I use Kenwood radios, TK380 series. Program software is free and they seem much better than the baofeng units. Nice thing is the software for the 380 also works on the 880 mobile radio, so I only use 1 program for all my radios.
