Admin please disregard if not allowed.

 

I have (2) Decibel Products Collinear repeater antennas. One is an 8 element with 12 db gain and the other is a 4 element with 9 db gain.

 

They both measure 1:1 swr, or very close to it at 462.500

 

I unstacked the top sections and they will measure around 442.000 individually at less than 1:5 swr. They can be modified for UHF Ham by extending the elements with a bolt, or at least that's what I've been told. That would have to be done to use the stacked (2) sections together in the UHF ham band. The best use is GMRS.

 

They are rated for winds over 100 mph.

 

$400 each. Located near Tyler, Texas.

For those of us who have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about, would you mind explaining in English what that means and maybe some photos?

I re-read what I wrote, and I agree with you; it sounds really rude! I'm sorry @jonny, et al.

 

Here's what I meant so I should have said this: 

 

I'm new to RF and trying to learn, and you guys clearly have vast knowledge on all this. Would you mind educating me without using esoteric terms as to what this is, what it is for, why one would need it, and what it looks like?

 

In holding my feet to the fire, this prompted me to put my money where my mouth is.
