JAF27 Posted October 26, 2020 Report Posted October 26, 2020 Hi, There is a repeater in New York City, KAG0353 on frequency 462.675. I frequently hear it identifying itself. Does anyone know the tone in and tone out codes for it? Or any other information about the repeater? Quote
wayoverthere Posted October 26, 2020 Report Posted October 26, 2020 didnt find anything about it in the directory, but one thread on radioreference.com seems to indicate was open (no pl/dpl required). https://forums.radioreference.com/threads/kag0353-462-675-ny.384267/ an older thread on this site mentioned there being more than one input tone, though. (2017/2018, talking even further back) Quote
rdunajewski Posted October 26, 2020 Report Posted October 26, 2020 There's one input tone that I'm aware of, and there's no tone on output. This was done to force everyone to monitor before transmitting since NYC is so RF dense. I haven't tried to use it in many years, so I didn't even know it was operational. There's a note on the listing from 2017 saying it was suspended for interference reasons, but I don't know if that's the latest info. Here's the listing for it: https://mygmrs.com/view?id=2604 wayoverthere 1 Quote
