08/13/2019 - This is an open repeater for the use by properly licensed operators.   This repeater is not currently linked with the others but we are looking for someone to host the linking. If you are interested please reach out to GSO675@trogdon.org.

this repeater is accessible from Western Winston-Salem via mobile and Yadkinville County via fixed base.  Please forward or post signal / range reports so others are aware.

02/09/2020 - NOTE:  this repeater shares same Freq and PL tone as Kilby Gap in Alexander county.  If you are say West of US Hwy 52 you very well may get mixed signals and bring up both transmitters when talking.   More to east you are you will hear Greensboro stronger.

06/28/2021 - This repeater is monitored and managed by W. Tim Key WRKH438.  If you have any questions or issues feel free to give Tim a shout on-air or email at w4adc@yahoo.com

Enjoy..

40 mile radius coverage. South, West and North are favorable. East coverage starts to fade in eastern Alamance County. All users must have a valid and up to date GMRS license. Any correspondence or questions regarding this machine and how it is expected to be used, please contact Tim (WRKH438) at w4adc@yahoo.com.

Use the machine and have fun !!!!!

Program these 3 repeaters into your UV-5R and go for a drive towards them and see how well they function as you drive back.

Do you know how to program your UV-5R?

Have you obtained your FCC GMRS License?
