KPG-49D source question

I went through every post on the technical discussion forum that populated.  And excitedly found some zip files , but none were active.  Is there a safe source to download software from ? 

Also, I have a TK-880H-1  ver. 2.0 and will be using windows 10.  Is KPG-49D what I need ?

to open with anything , downloaded & tried a recommended file viewer lite, but would not open, what do you recommend ?

That's an Microsoft Exell spreadsheet. If you don't have their office package you can install a free open source office suit from these guys. There are versions for Windows, Linux and MacOS. It does pretty much everything MS Office does. It can be setup to open and save files in their office pack formats too.

thanks, Lscott  I was able to open the link below by opening microsoft edge browser & it opened it, firefox would not.

I'm running Firefox on Linux, OpenSuse, and when I click on the link it asks if I want to use Libreoffice to open the file. I have that package installed so it works for me.

In addition to other answers here, you can upload an excel spreadsheet into Google Sheets.

Try "Ohio Solo Tech" for the Kenwood programs to download. The cost is very reasonable, about $25, for the KPG-49D and yes that is the program for the TK-880 series.
