I've tried to register, but keep getting "license does  cannot be found"

I sent an email and was told that the problem was fixed but I still cannot register.

Can anyone help with this?

Please check your call sign format. It should be four letters followed by three digits.

That applies to recently issued (to me, that means last decade or so) call signs. Call signs issued in the 80s/90s are AAA9999 format (see mine)

I do see a wrqL685 in the FCC database

The guy is a recent licensee so the historical background is not relevant.
The guy should pay attention to what Rich suggested and review what he entered. If he entered the same thing he used in his Guest name it’s a mistake.
Sometimes the difference between a lowercase L and the first ordinal number isn’t always obvious (especially for us old farts that learned on manual typewriters where a single character represented both).

I figured it out. It was an “I” not a “1” or “L”.

Thanks for the replies!

You may want to read this thread too. It may take a bit longer. It all depends on when the FCC adds your new license to the data bank that is used by this site to update. In the meantime welcome. ?
