WRMN374 Posted December 23, 2022 Report Posted December 23, 2022 Trying to add repeater on mygmrs.com. However, when I try to drag icon to closer position it won't let me drag icon. Anyone know how to drag icon on map when adding repeater? Quote

OffRoaderX Posted December 24, 2022 Report Posted December 24, 2022 Contrary to incorrect information posted here, there is no place to enter a latitude and longitude and entering a lat/long in the search does not appear to work - you drag the marker to the correct location, as indicated by the instructions on the page. If the dragging isn't working, try a different web-browser or a different computer. marcspaz and WRUU653 2 Quote
Kurtsdcb Posted December 26, 2022 Report Posted December 26, 2022 Same problem. There is no "icon" visible anywhere that can be dragged. WRMN374 1 Quote

What browser and OS are you using? Have you tried a different browser and/or computer? Do you have any kind of "security" plugins or anything that may be blocking scripts? Quote
WRTR662 Posted December 27, 2022 Report Posted December 27, 2022 Describe the icon you are referring to. No "icon" appears on the repeater registration page that I can find, I have tried to register 10 or 12 times. Quote

WRUY699 Posted December 31, 2022 Report Posted December 31, 2022 I have added a repeater and I still can't get the "GMRS antenna" icon to move to the repeater's location on the map. It placed itself about 30 miles north of my listed repeater, Warren 550, in Warren, MI., when I listed it. WRUY699. WRMN374 1 Quote

WRMN374 Posted January 6, 2023 Author Report Posted January 6, 2023 I figured it out. I made it harder than it needed to be. I followed MichaelLAX's diagram. You drag the antenna from continental map, and don't zoom into location first. Thanks everyone. MichaelLAX 1 Quote

WRMN374 Posted January 13, 2023 Author Report Posted January 13, 2023 I was able to better locate my antenna thanks to your advice. Quote
WRUE951 Posted January 13, 2023 Report Posted January 13, 2023 Wouldn’t it be cool, to view all the GMRS repeaters on Google Earth by State that also included much of the info such as Call Signs, frequency, squelch tones, repeater type etc….. Quote
