The Retevis version of its little brother (DB20-G), the RA25, is also at a significant discount for $92.

And:
the Radioddity GM-30 is less than $30
the UV5Rs are going for about $15
the QUANSHENG UV-K5 is $24

I didnt get a chance to post last night, but there was a 10% off coupon you could click under the price too.

I ordered one yesterday with the coupon added it was 83.39 after tax.

Edit : Quote doesnt seem to be working, this is in response to the Radioddity DB25-G from @WRQC527.

Thanks for sharing this. I need another handheld like I need another toe, but….its a solid deal. I did the “full kit” with four batteries and four antennas, sale price $149.99 - and there was a $20 off coupon to click on. Seems like a decent deal to have the spare batteries so cheap.

ROFL I ordered one from the "prime day" (which is what once every 6mos now?) and it showed up essentially DOA. Turned on ONCE, received its programming, I turned it off, went inside for a few hours, came back out and dead... 🙄 Tried on two different vehicles and 3 different 12v sockets. Already submitted my return.

Likely going with a Wouxun KG-XS20G

Got mine today and plugged it in, nothing.

Your post was the first thing that came to my mind.

So I checked the DC plugs in my vehicle and nothing.

I really dont use them and never realized none of them work.

Plugged the radio into another vehicle and it worked just fine.

Oh, rough go man. Well hopefully its something simple like a fuse, otherwise hopefully a hardwired solution would be possible/not too difficult. At least the radio works. 🙃
