Can you confirm that this is a CREST repeater? ie; associated with Santiago CREST?

No association with Santiago. The name The Mesa Crest Repeater, comes from its origin. The Mesa from The Mesa Community in the High Desert. And Crest for Crestline for where it will live its live out.

Could be "The Kiddy Kartel"... They were responsible for the demise of the Delta Repeater as we knew it.  They are located in Montclair and El Monte, so they are right in the footprint. They are losers and dont like it when other people have nice things.

Hello,

WSBT315

i am confused about the location and frequency. Is your repeater on Saddleback peak or also referred as Santiago peak.

Also what is the frequency. I have requested to join but am waiting.

Also the owner on 700 seems to be upset about your repeater taking his frequency.

so confusing and the games web site links do not get to your site.

have a great evening

Matt

Saddleback was never referred to as Saddleback Peak. Saddleback is a Mountain and Santiago Peak is a Peak within the Saddleback Mountain known as "Old Saddleback" within the Santa Ana Mountains. Saddleback Mountain has two Peaks, Santiago and Mojeska. Old Saddleback gots it's name from the profile of the Crestline between the two peaks as you look from a distance and it resembled a saddle.

The repeater is on Santiago Peak, overlooking the slums below..

and the "owner" on 700 seems to be very confused, as 700 is not "his" frequency.

Thanks.  I am not confused anymore. Well at least regarding the repeater location. The Crest repeater on Santiago Peak was the issue. I wanted to join the correct Repeater that had the greater Fars. yes, I watch your channel.  I am learning and understanding the Tones better. I was a little confused at first about having the Two 700 repeaters so close together and not causing a problem.  I listen without tone on 21 and it is kinda funny how they get a little worked up when Coach is mentioned.

Thanks and have a good day.
