WRCR724 Posted December 14, 2023 Report Posted December 14, 2023 When searching for repeaters, there's an option to "show stale repeaters". What makes a repeater "stale"? Is it just a matter of the information not being updated within a specific amount of time? Quote
WRXB215 Posted December 14, 2023 Report Posted December 14, 2023 That is my understanding of it. What the amount of time is, I have no idea. Quote
gortex2 Posted December 15, 2023 Report Posted December 15, 2023 If I remember right if there are no changes/updates in over a year (maybe 2) it goes to stale. SteveShannon and WRUU653 2 Quote

You are correct, I can confirm one year as my friends needed updating recently. WRXB215, gortex2 and SteveShannon 2 1 Quote
WRUE951 Posted December 16, 2023 Report Posted December 16, 2023 i remember seeing a Tech note in Technical Discussions that said if a registered repeater is not updated within one year it goes into the stale bucket.... I don't think it's working to well though as some states show repeaters in the stale bucket reflecting updates within one year.. I';ve seen other bugs throughout the databsse so i don;'t think i would depend to much on the Database program he is using... probably just a coding issue. Quote
