Of course, this requires FOX hunting, but it can be done if necessary. I won't say that it has been done before. However, I'm sure the FCC will go after unlicensed individuals if necessary.

Yes, but their technology is far better than most of the rest of us have to track signals.

Pretty amazing the tools the Sheriff and even airline pilots have that can instantly pin point the exact location on ground when a laser lights them up.   Granted, the FCC has tools that can find an illegal transmitter but nothing as fast as the laser spotting tools.  To bad the FCC seldom uses them.
