silverbk Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 What are the main differences between models? ie 550 vs 650 On the currently made models what is the difference between the 600 and 700? I have heard that the 410 is one model to avoid? Why exactly? Quote
Guest Posted January 24 Report Posted January 24 Here is the user guide for the DTR 410 / 550 / 650 family 9980384r89-o_dtr_eng.pdf (motorolasolutions.com) those radios are unlikely to be available as "new" any more. The current DTRs are the 600 and 700 that play well together and differ as outlined here: Quote
nokones Posted February 13 Report Posted February 13 The DTR600 is a 30 Channel radio and the DTR700 is a 50 channel radio. I finally received my DTR700 radio and I was impressed with the performance in distance and the audio quality of the DTR700 radio. I was able to receive an user with a DLR1060 radio about 2 miles away. Last weekend I was using a remote speaker mic with an earpiece and sometimes a dual-muff boom mic headset with an in-line PT-T switch and they worked perfectly. I am able to use my headsets with both the XTS5000 radios and the DTR700 radios by switching out the adapter cables. SteveShannon 1 Quote
WRWH978 Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 I picked up a DTR 650 recently and I'm going over all the features - is there a way to lock the key buttons on the radio? Perhaps I missed it in the manual, couldn't find it. Quote
