WSBP830
Trying to program my TD_H8 with RT Sys software. Keeps saying no connection with the radio. Am I missing something. Holding the plug in does not help. Com port is right.
Socalgmrs
Plug in, turn in radio, hit down load from radio. Is the driver right? Is the cable right for the radio?
WRYZ926
One thing I found is that RT systems does not always play well with aftermarket cables, especially with the Prolific chips. Double check your coms port number in device manager to make sure your computer is seeing it. Then check that you are using the correct com port number in the RT Systems software. Many Cables were manufactured with notoriously counterfeited Prolific chips. these are causing many Windows 11 problems. WRYZ926
WSBP830
Did the com port thing. PC is seeing it as com port 5. Put that in the drop down in the software. correct cable from RT systems. spoke with her and she is sending me another cable with straight in plug VS the 90 degree one. WSAA635
When I went to DeVry to get my Electronics Technician's Degree (all those years ago) we'd tie knots in wires to slow the flow of electrons.
