TIDRADIO TD-H3 Weather?

Skunkworks

Question

Does the H3 have weather band programmed?  Is there a shortcut? I can't seem to get mine into weather band.  In a video review, I saw the host hold down the bottom soft key to get to weather band, but mine goes to FM commercial radio.  Is this key programmable?  I'd like have it go to weather since holding the "8" will get you to FM.

Yes, but it seems for it to be a default freq you need to set the special key "12" in the manual to cycle to NOAA.

https://tidodmaster.oss-us-west-1.aliyuncs.com/h3/H3-Ham manual.pdf

page 10 and 11.

First thing when you get a radio is to read the manual. The second thing is try to figure out whether the manual actually applies to your radio and try all the buttons.

Download od  master app..  Hook up radio via Bluetooth (hold down blue button on radio) then under function tab u can select "short key pf1" which is taping  the 3rd button ,  or below that is "long key pf1"   and u can select between weather,  Fm radio,  etc then hit write....  Done..  All from the phone

New comer to the forum...

I got my H3 in the Ham version and reprogrammed it to the GMRS version and the weather channels, 11 of them were right after the 8th repeater channel (RPT8).  I actually took them out of the scan function because I have 2 active ones and it would always break up the scan.  I didn't have to program anything to get them in there.  GMRS Version 240229 on my H3 (setting 42).
